Are you nervous before this game?
- I'm not nervous, we did our job until now very well and I'm pleased with everything. I feel a positive excitment before a game like this and I would be worried if it wasn't present, said the Dinamo coach.
Do you have doubts about the lineup?
- There are no doubts. The starting 11 are: Koch, Etto, Drpic,Schildenfeld, Carlos, Pokrivač, Vukojević, Sammir, Modrić, Mandžukić and Balaban.
Sokota is not in the competitionas he is not yet 100%. He is under a special treatment and is feeling better everyday.
How will you set the strategy? Many players say that0-0 in the 75th minute is a good result, do you agree?
- I don't believe they said that. What they are saying is that there is no room for being nervous and to continue to play a disciplined and calm game. With 1-0 we go through so there is no need to lose patience. But on the other hand we need to play offensively and decisivly. We have to take risks and give it our all.
We know that Dinamo always scores, but also gets scored on. Can the defence keep a clean sheet this time?
- Of course. Dinamo plays offensive football always wanting to score so we sometimes get scored on. We try to correct some of our mistakesand close the paths to our goal. Some of our players have gone through a big transformation in a short time, for example Schildenfeld has played in the second division a year ago and now he plays Champions League football.
Are yu afraid of referee mistakes?
- No, the fereree in Bremen was outstanding. This is CL and only the best come here. I expect the same in Zagreb.
What are the advantages in this match for Werder and what for Dinamo?
- Werder is an experienced team that plays in the CL almost every year. It also plays in the Bundesliga which is one of the top leagues in the world. It is a team that scores well so we have to very carefull. On the other side Dinamo plays a type of football with a lot of combinations, imagination and speed. We are also laying in front of our home fans and I expect them to carry us the whole 90 minutes as always. All in all it will be a football festivity for all fans of the game, concluded the coach. |
