First leg of Uefa cup- Dinamo vs. Sparta Prag

Lot in Nyon decided that Dinamo' s opponent in first leg of Uefa Cup will be Sparta Prag.First match will be played in Zagreb on September, 18. , and second match is scheduled for October, 2. in Prague. Sparta is a club with tradition older than 110 years. Surely, it is most successaful Czech club, and lately it is also the most dominant club there. Here are first impressions about opponent. COACH BRANKO IVANKOVIĆ: Difficult opponent, but we're not without a chance. Quality of Czech football is known worldwide. Sparta is their top club which has long tradition and great strenght. We have to be well prepared for first game, try to fix our mistakes, because we can succeed only by playing seriously. I believe that the players are aware of what' s in front of themand that we'll be prepared for September, 18. SPORT'S DIRECTOR ZORAN MAMIĆ: There will be people who will claim that this isn't attractive opponent. Czech clubs are always significant in european football, and so is their national team. We play similar football, and we have to use these three weeks so as many our players as possible get in better shape. I believe that stands will be full, much fuller than when we played against Sahtar. CAPTAIN IGOR BIŠĆAN: This is very strong opponent, and I don't know much about them since I never played with them. But, I know Czech players, who play in strong europen clubs. I am sure that our staff will watch them carefully and prepare us well for the first nmatch in Zagreb. GOALKEEPER TOMISLAV BUTINA: I don' t know much about current values of Sparta, but I 'm aware of their tradition and czech football school. They have quality league, and excellent national team. Their games against Panathaniakos show they play high- class football. I believe supporters will be our 12th player that will lead us to victory.
